At GVS Assist we believe in supporting the local and wider community in whatever way we can.
Each year we sponsor our local Smallfield Village Summer Fair, both financially and in terms of providing a team of volunteers for the day to help out. We also support the local primary school fundraising activities, as well as hosting our own 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' for Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising.
Amongst other activities we also hold a monthly dress down day to support various local and national charities. Some of the more recent organisations we have supported are shown below:

Wear it Pink
Breast Cancer Campaign uses all wear it pink donations to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. The charity currently supports 92 projects worth over £16.6 million in 34 centres across the UK and Ireland.

The Olive Tree is an independent cancer support centre based at Crawley Hospital. They provide a drop-in centre, complementary therapies, counselling, information and support for cancer patients and their carers and families. |

Help for Heroes was founded out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. They believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. |

Jeans for Genes
Jeans for Genes are the UK children's charity that aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest killer of children aged 14 years and under. |
